I watched it night before last. How disgusting!!! Certainly this has been going on for a long time and will probably never stop. Medicine is big big $$. We recently had an experience with a medical device that is a medication delivery system, Nuvaring. It is a form of birth control that is worn internally and continuously releases birth control hormones. There have been many, many instances of stroke and death related to this device. My 22 year old granddaughter, who was prescribed this form of birth control two years ago, was diagnosed with a cavernous sinus thrombosis that completely occluded outflow from the right internal jugular vein. She spent 6 days in ICU and has had to continue taking anticlotting medication. The company that makes the product paid out 100 Million in injury claims in 2014. The product is still prescribed and can still be purchased. I am one pissed off consumer even though I’ve never used any of these products.
