What will he have to do to earn respect? Hell, Miles won it all and struggled to get respect here, let alone nationally. So, O will have to start (this year) by winning every game LSU is favored to win and 1/2 the games they are not favored-- while being competitive in any losses. He will need to beat Bama this year or next. He will need to compete for SEC title this year or next.
These are all minimums to have a chance at getting respect here and nationally. But following what happened to Miles, there are no guarantees.
LSU HC should seek to win. Who cares what pundits say about respect?
