Was it Cohen or the FBI? Is Cohen allowed to make recordings if Trump was unaware he was being recorded? Does atty-client privilege come into play in this situation?

Not Cohen - attorney client privilege

Not FBI - Wray is on a very tight leash and should have already been fired.

That leaves Rudy G.

Who cares? The ruling in favor of Maryland and Washington D.C.is the real story as to why Trump is melting before our eyes.

Cohen is in a bad place and it is getting worse with every passing day..

Or, this is similar to Roger Stone sending RachelMadcow at MSNBC the 2-page IRS tax return.

What specifically has Cohen done criminally?

The left seems very confident that he committed treason.

I believe cohen’s lawyer gave it to CNN. Trump waived his privilege as to the recordings. NY is a single party consent state. You can record as long as one participant (can be the taper) consents. Cohen may have some Bar problems for taping his discussions with a client, but those will likely be the least of his Bar worries or at the bottom of the list of his disbarment charges.
