I'm no O sycophant, but I do recognize that he is our coach for at least this year and all the whining in the world won't change that so I wish him success for LSU's sake. But your post is bull and you know it. Were we supposed to beat UF last year? After Troy nobody, including me, gave us a chance. Were we supposed to beat Auburn. Not on your life. They were the West champs and their only conference loss was to who? In 2016, a Coach O led team won some games no one thought we'd win. Some of you will never get off Coach O's back non matter what positives he accomplishes.

They finished 4-7. I certainly hope we were supposed to win that one.

That would be cool if we didn’t lose to fricking troy.

Perhaps you aren't, but your post sounds like you are.

We were favored in that game according to the sites (ESPN and Athlon) that I could find. As a matter of fact, ESPN"s FPI had LSU favored in every game last year except the Alabama game.

Athlon had LSU favored in every game except the Alabama and Auburn games.

So I would say yes. We were supposed to beast Florida last year. And Florida was a fricking wreck before the LSU/Florida game even rolled around.

They lost their first game of the year against Michigan, 33-17. Barely beat Tennessee, 26-20 when they scored the winning touchdown on a hail mary type play very late in the game. It might have even happened on the game's final play.

They beat Kentucky 28-27. But two of Florida's touchdowns came about when Kentucky DB's failed to cover receivers during the play. And I don't mean the DB's were beat during the play, the fricking receivers weren't even covered. And the week before LSU, Florida beat Vanderbilt 38-24.

They very easily, and should have been, 1-3 entering October of last year, instead of 3-1. And to boot, LSU wins the Florida game on a missed extra point.

After Troy

Yeah, yeah. After Troy.. Troy should have never happened and the blame for that loss should be placed at the feet of the head coach. The same way it works at every other program in America, and the way LSU use to do it before o was hired.

Were we supposed to beat Auburn

It was a good win. The only good win the program had last year. But as far as "were we supposed to beat Auburn", I don't know. Some sites had us favored, some had us as underdogs for the Auburn game.

You're gonna have to make a list of all those games where Coach o led us to victory against teams "no one though we'd win."

Coach o has two, I repeat two, decent victories since he took over at the end of September of 2016. Two in 21 games.

When/if he starts winning games, he'll gets his pats on the back.
