2001 SEC Championship game is on SEC network right now.

Lost to ole miss at home. BeatAU at the end of the year to get to Atl

Such an awesome part of LSU history 
Such a deflating game. Erin Damond
Saban was 12-7 in BR at that point and the boo birds were out in full force. Looked to be completely out of the West race until Auburn, Arkansas, and Ole Miss all went on losing streaks in November to let us back in.
The next week Ro to Reed put Alabama on blast and we never looked back.
9/11 moving the Auburn game to the last week of the season made it all possible. We likely lose that game in September but on that December night, Auburn was fricked. One of my favorite games in history

We were ascending back then. Now we’re in the decline.
