Honest question, has anyone without a 5 gallon bucket and cane pole ever eaten one? I used to fish Pier 90 a lot as a kid. When we caught them we just gave them to the cane pole fishers. They had buckets full of them, but I’ve never eaten them.

My old Nonc from Vacherie makes Choupique patties with them. They really good.
