I apologize for not thanking some of you for the Rome recommendations. I’ve been trying not to be the typical American glued to their phone. We have one last night of our 10 day adventure and we want to end with a bang. Any recommendations for a restaurant with a view or outstanung seafood in Venice? We’ve been to multiple places that haven’t disappointed but only a select items have knocked our socks off. Thank you in advance.

I've heard Venice is known for overpriced and lower quality food compared to other cities in Italy. But surprisingly my 2 favorite restaurants in Italy were Trattoria Bar Pontini in Venice and Trattoria Zaza in Florence.
I highly recommend seafood pasta and squid ink pasta at Trattoria Bar Pontini. Best pasta I've ever had.

We were there in April. We always like to end with a bang also and did so this time at Alle Corone, an excellent restaurant in a hotel near the Rialto Bridge. This was the best restaurant of the trip and we saved it for the last night which happened to be our anniversary..... Al Covo is another very good restaurant with delicious exotic seafood. We ate there on our last night on a previous trip.....Two other restaurants that specialize in seafood are Osteria Alle Testiere and Ai Barbacani. These are near each other between St. Mark's and the Rialto. Alle Testiere is a tiny place but the food is delicious. Ai Barbacani is more casual.....None of these places really have views. For the view, have pre dinner cocktails on the outdoor terrace at the Bauer Hotel overlooking the Grand Canal.

Had a couple of negronis and some snacks at Osteria Bancogiro a few months ago. The terrace is right on the Grand Canal just past the Rialto. Was a nice relaxing setting and nothing super Venetian expensive.
I love Venice, which I know puts me in the minority, but it is a great city to just wander in.

If you are looking for good seafood and a view, then you may want to check out Club del Doge.
Warning: It is stupidly expensive.
