you can't have an objective view expressed on this board. period. everything is O's fault to some no matter what happened.
I also rewatched that game. LSU played terrible. and that means the players played terrible. the front 7 could not stop them from running up our gut and keeping the ball away from our offense. our OL looked terrible and the players had 4 friggin' turnovers.
it is obvious to anyone without a bias to see that LSU overlooked Troy and gave less than a strong effort. OUR PLAYERS got beat man on man.
ALL OF THE COACHES are to blame for the team not being ready to compete (including Saint Aranda) and the PLAYERS are blame for not executing their assignments. when someone is kicking your butt you better have some damn pride and do something about it.
to the credit of both the coaches and players they came back the next week and began to play like they are capable of.
in summary, teams lay an egg at times. AT ALL LEVELS, including the NFL. that egg stunk the joint up and should not have happened. and you idiots that say i'm making excuses are wrong as hell. if you've played the game, or any game at a higher level you would agree with me.
that loss was turned into a positive by the team later in the season; I damn sure hope it continues to be a positive influence on both the players and coaches.
