S-I-L is a COO at the largest hospital in her State.
She just finished her PhD in Healthcare Administration but started as a floor nurse with BSN.
She does OK money-wise (~$250-$300k per year) but it took a long time as she didn't move around from hospital to hospital.
I know lotsa local folks who are in Healthcare Administration, good money, but you have to have the right temperament to survive & thrive.
More women in positions of authority in that field than many other fields in the US.
Can you work well under a woman?:rimshot:
