Yeah, that's asinine. You don't even begin to get the whole story that quick, let alone assess anything. Of course, you said he was a CFO so that explains it.

Hey.. you went to school for a VERY long time. If you can't assess a patient in 15 minutes, something's wrong.
I can walk into your office, look over your books, tell you exactly whats wrong and devise a budget for the next 10 years for you in under 15 minutes.
