Do you recommend or know some good 5 -12 mile routes around there ? I need to get 35 miles during the week. I wont have a car but can get one if safety is an issue in that area. If it's easier, please feel free to message me on one of my Strava runs so we dont derail this thread

Strava website has you covered Sand.

You can go to segment explore and go to the area around your hotel and zoom out and it will show you segments in the area.

You can also do heatmap and it will show an overlay of people that have run in an area. There’s an intensity if it’s a heavily traveled area.

That being said, local runners may know the safer routes.

3nOut,

I didnt know that existed on Strava and even found some segments in my neighborhood. Cool feature.

There are some highly active routes right by my hotel according to the heatmap so , in theory, I just have to run faster than the slowest guy so I dont get robbed and shot ! Guess I have a month to focus on speedwork.
