R2R2R has been on our list for a while. hopefully next year we will finally get to tackle it. little motivation for you... women's unsupported FKT is 8hrs... men's supported is 5:55. oh and the double crossing is 17:55.

if you put in a heavy load of training to prepare for this, you'll be surprised at how much it can help your marathon time. trained for my 1st 100-miler before running a marathon. you legs know what its like to be on them for long time so the marathon "feels short".

That's actually my goal, most of the running guys on Youtube have pointed to "ultra" training as one of the things that sped up their "smaller" runs the most

I can definitely see it - for instance my 5k best was 22 minutes before training for a Marathon. Now the 5k feels so short I did it in 18 the other day

ETA: I'm supposed to do 6 miles today if I follow the 24 week plan... we will see if I make it to 6 miles 3 days after a marathon haha

One of my wife’s best friends did R2R2R in under 20 hours. Girl has never ran more than a half marathon competitively. Think her longest training run leading up to it was 16 or 18 miles. Crazy person, but also very fit
