Anyone like the Nike zoomX line? I have been running in Speed for the past 2 years. I like them, but my feet might need some variety. I have the next pair in the closet, almost time to switch, but it's running shoe sale season so I'm browsing. I do short runs - 3.5 miles, morning before breakfast, 8:15-8:30 pace, no halfs or marathons. Anyone have experience with the Nike Streakfly? Very light, no plate, 6mm drop, the zoomX foam looks very squishy but this has less of it than the others in the line. Sale

Also shopping for a no- to low-drop trail type shoe with some water proofing for rain running and general outdoor activities.

You'd have to dig for it, but there's a lengthy running shoe thread. It's been dormant for a few months, but pretty much every shoe has been discussed.

I moved from the Saucony endorphin speed to the adidas adios pro 3. Yes, it's intended as a marathon shoe, but the midsole technology is amazing (I prefer it over zoomx) and it's very stable and usable at a variety of speeds.

Relatively easy to find discounted as well.
