Everyone is different but cliff bars have soo much added sugar, feel like that would throw me off. I like whole wheat or Ezekiel bread toast with a healthy peanut butter, honey, and cinnamon before a longer run or race. Could throw in a hard boiled egg for a little protein.

that sounds good. I like oatmeal too. Might work some of that in on long run days with some honey and yogurt and/or eggs on the side.

@jordan: Same here…I like to have a bagel with peanut butter the morning of a race. Maybe a banana as well.


@reg: Aiming to do the half again this year. I really like that course. Although with a 2 month old and a 20 month old that could easily change
