Update: So my wife went for her regular hair appointment today...

...and came back with hair as short as mine. Seriously, a Justin Bieber cut.
She’s never kept it real long. I only remember it being at ponytail length about 7 years ago. But she usually keeps it shoulder(ish) length and cutely styled.
I reacted poorly and needed to avoid her until I’d had time to digest, and then we got into an argument which ended in her crying.
Am I a dick, or would the rest of you baws be pissed if your SO altered their look so drastically without discussing it first?

I don’t blame you. I told mine that I didn’t like short hair when we first started dating. If she chooses to come home with a cut like that, I’d still love her but it would be a huge adjustment for me.

Shoulder length or longer. I've only seen a few women in my life that can pull off hair shorter than that and still look attractive

My ex wife did that a long time ago. She had beautiful hair and one day she comes home with a bowl cut or something of such. Kinda like Helmet Heads hair. Awful. She was really a very pretty lady but the hairdo didn’t go IMO
