What is with Saints fans and their obsession with running the damn ball? Short completions with dominant/versatile players at the skills positions is basically as effective as a good running game. Actually, it's more effective and extremely difficult to stop, just not many teams can execute it.

Our most successful seasons have come when CSP dedicates himself to running the ball. It shortens the game, wears out the other teams D, and gives our D a chance to rest between drives. Nothing bad has ever come from a productive running game. On the other hand Drew can throw for 5,000 yd and the Saints can go 7-9.
