Has anyone played this course? What is it like? We bought a weekend getaway there at an auction and are going next weekend.
Side note: Is there anything else to do around the resort?

I played the course on Tuesday for the first time. The resort is actually in Ocean Springs, but very close to Biloxi. The course is not in the best shape. Some holes looked bad, some holes looked good. The greens are not in good shape. Good bit of weeds on them, but they rolled faster than I expected. No break on any greens. The course has a lot of potential, though. You can tell they are trying to get it nice.
That said, I thought it was a very fun course, and enjoyed my round. Cheap beer, cheap fees. At $27 for a full round and cart, you get what you pay for. We had a good time out there.
You are about 1.5 miles from Government Street, which you must check out. Lots of good restaurants and bars on that strip.
As far as around the resort, we didn't do much but eat dinner. Went to a place called Anthony's, which was very close to the resort. I highly recommend getting dinner there. But am sure some locals on here could give you much better insight on things to do/places to go. Hope y'all have a good time. Enjoy!

As a recent graduate and shitty golfer this is perfect with me.
Thanks for the info! We will probably head to Government St. Saturday night. The wife wants to go to Front Beach. Any thoughts on that? It looks pretty "iffy".

It’s a fun place to go drinking and play golf. Course is not that great shape. But it’s a pretty cool layout. Just remember to bring enough beer. You don’t loop back until the 18 th hole

It was in the best shape I’ve ever seen right before Katrina. Katrina gave her a devastating blow and it still hasn’t recovered.

You’re assuming the gender of the course.

Grew up there. Haven't played it in a couple of years.
Was home for just a couple of days at the end of June. Old man tells me it's under new management. It looked to be rough around the edges.
It's a nice old track, though. Not much length but good target golf.
