Somebody catch a real record trout. The last one didn’t count but there are 13 pounders swimming around

We fished Calcasieu yesterday. Birds were working all over the west side of the main lake but it was 90% lady fish with very few trout mixed in. For every trout we caught we must have caught 8 lady fish or sail cats. Managed to end up with a decent bag of fish.
Water is nice all over Calcasieu, can’t say what it looks like in West Cove, we didn’t make it down there. I stil think the majority of the trout are offshore. We were cleaning fish at Calcasieu Point and the three guides there all had some trout with some Spanish mackerel mixed in. I am assuming that’s what most of them are doing.
