This has been an abysmal series despite the win last night. Can’t earn a win for Cole or Verlander when each goes 6 scoreless innings. McCullers lays a complete turd today. We come out sleepwalking again on offense as though we didn’t even bother to look at any tape on the A’s starter. GOATCock has turned into SuckCock. Altuve has made two separate boneheaded errors in this series alone on double play balls.
Giles not only started the blown save last night but apparently lit a fire under an A’s offense that had been kept in check for the majority of 17 innings. Hopefully, that’s the last time he ruins a game for the Houston Astros.
