Nice reply, I was thinking the same thing. That's why Brees, Brady, Manning, Rodgers and the elite QBs are so good. Their football IQ is so high that pre/post snap reads of defensive formations/alignments/tendencies give them a good idea of where they need to go with the ball. The "speed" for these QBs are in their brain, they process things so fast they can keep sacks to a minimum because of their quick processing skills whether it's hitting the hot route or audibling to a different play to gain an advantage over defensive alignment.
