I mean, I can't really blame her. She probably dedicates just as much time to her craft as NBA players do. Yet, because of genetics, she will be lucky to make 1 mill in her entire career, while NBA benchwarmers will more than that each year. I imagine that would be a frustrating realization if I was a woman basketball player as well.

It's not really fair, but it's the way things have to be. No other way around it. The WNBA is a product that is largely unwatchable. They simply do not make money. I have no problem with the NBA subsidizing the WNBA, because otherwise they could not exist on their own. Women deserve to have their fun as well.

Nobody says they can't play basketball.

"Fairness" is a completely arbitrary concept and this has nothing to do with genetics. It's a very simple business issue of supply and demand. There is relatively little demand, from a monetary standpoint, for the WNBA. She's either too ignorant or more likely, too ill-informed to realize that her league and any women's professional basketball league would LITERALLY cease to exist if it were mandated that its players be paid the same amount as the male players.

Unfairness would be if she and her league generated as much revenue as James and the NBA and she continued to be paid far less. I don't recall seeing many complaints when female supermodels make FAR more than male models based on "genetics".
