This is all emotion, which surprises me a bit.
A little bit. We are talking about offspring so no one can be totally objective.
But was also talking about irrational accommodation that is unnecessary. That's not an emotional line of thinking. It risk assessment versus necessity.
What is the necessity of participating in this transgender lie? It's zero. There is no actual negative effect on the transgender in this situation. And even if there was, it is product of his own behavior.
What is the risk of harm to the wife/child? Probably low but definitely higher than the zero above.
What are the odds of arrest in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for this action? Probably close to zero.
What are the odds of physical harm coming to me? Probably not high
What are the odds that if it did get physical, I would not have the ability to protect myself from serious harm? Also probably pretty low (unless it's like Daniel Cormier under that dress, but I don't see that happening.)
So, yes, while there is definitely a strain of emotional thinking, it's also a calculated action.

No, it's primarily emotion.
No one stands guard outside of a public restroom that they do not control out of reasonable thought.
