Les Miles football was fuggin awful to watch.

It was like watching someone play a video game and only had 2 plays to choose from...and they gained 3.4 yards per run.

It’s unbelievable how some of y’all can’t agree that Miles was a flippin moron (clock mgmt for one) with the absolute best horses in the stable. Having that alone won him 8 games a year.

Then he started getting lazy on recruiting, guys not working out and 400 corners and wrs. No oline or dline which takes a couple of years to show up.

I wasn’t thrilled at the O hire but my God he pulled a qb (yes I know he hasn’t throw a pass for us yet) and has recruited very well COVERING ALL ASPECTS needed ESPECIALLY oline and dline, which is very uplifting bc football minds know that games are won in the trenches. Fact.

I think it’s aggravating reading some of these posts hating on O bc y’all say “give me 10 wins, recruit a top 5 class, etc and THEN I’ll be on board”....well damn that’s chicken shite.

If it was Tom Herman or Jimbo and he lost to Troy (which who gives a shite really, a loss is a loss, they don’t put an asterisk next to it bc it was Troy just sayin), would u still be fence-standing waiting for him to do well THEN jump on the wagon? Y’all accuse this Pensacola dude of wanting it both ways but in actuality, you’re kind of doing the same.

For the record, because of the recruiting on the oline and dline (Ima huge proponent of lineman with nasty streaks), coupled with the hopefulness of us having a normal, Saturday football game plan and not just pounding the rock time and time again (yes yes even though we finally would break one and score = shite was hard to watch and there’s no hope for u if u don’t recognize this in the slightest; it sets u up for disaster when u run into a D that won’t break, ala Alabama or top tier opponents = we didn’t win any of those in the end with Miles and that gameplan = fact), will give us 9-10 wins this year.

9-10 wins with this schedule would be awesome. This schedule is DAUNTING. But we have talent and it seems we have all the bases covered, time will tell.

Check the Records section in the Media Guide and be enlightened. Miles has 4/5 LSU top scoring offenses all time (TDs by rush and pass).

Preseason SOS is #13 according to Steele and except for the 2017 #36 powder puff (by recent standards), easiest since 2008, if still holds true in January.

There ya go. 9-10 wins (some would be happy with 8) by o is perfectly acceptable. Awesome according to you. But i suppose I understand this way of thinking. Afterall, o has never won more than 9 games in a single season.

Toughest ever! LSU has never had to play a hard schedule in the history of the program, much less "DAUNTING!"

And you are precisely the reason we have a coach like O and pending mediocrity. Not les miles 9-10 win mediocrity, REAL mediocrity.

Thanks for that

Yeah almost losing to Troy is fuggin awful compared to actually losing to them.

You do realize that several of the records the wonder boys O and E broke in 2016, were records set in 2015?

His 2014, 2015 and 2016 classes were all ranked higher than O’s first two classes.

Except whiffing on RB in 2017, and CB and QB this year, the whole reason he had to pursue grad transfers.

People wanted to fire Miles after losing to Tennessee in 2005.

All he did in response was go out and win the west in year 1. No biggie.

1) they would not have lost
2) no need to put an asterisk, no one is forgetting that L anytime soon

*literally* the toughest schedule ever put together in the history of college football. If O can finish the season .500 I will be petitioning for a raise, an extension, and a statue next to Mike.
