re: Anyone have experience with a Home Warranty?

I had American home shield. The slimy guy they sent out refused to replace my 20 yr old water heater which wasn’t working well and occasionally shot a flame—yes, a fricking tongue of fire—out from the bottom. He told me old water heaters were better made than new ones so I should be glad to keep the old one. I immediately cancelled the warranty.
