So I've had/have the Apple Watch, Samsung Gear S3 Frontier and the Suunto Core series of watches.
I generally go with this logic:
If you have an iPhone and Apple Music definitely go Apple Watch.
If you have a Samsung phone go with the Gear S3 (they may have a new one out soon too).
If you want the BEST battery life and are looking for a hardcore watch for outdoor life look at the Suunto watches. They have a million different styles.
