Also against Holmes' case is that the system he came out of seemed to replace him pretty easily without any hitch. In fact, Larry Johnson seemed to perform even better. Every one of these guys has their own set of circumstances so it's possible that a guy like Holmes might be up for consideration. Just wouldn't be Holmes for me.


See Terrell Davis. I think it was 1BamaRTR who posted Davis' career stats. I can tell you that Priest has him beat numbers wise but that's where the comparison ends. It's all about the accolades. Also, Denver's system was similar to the Chief's in that you could plug in Mike Thomas, Olandis Gary etc and not miss a beat.
