What about people who put up homemade no wake zone signs by their camps? How do y'all feel about them?

They probably slow enough people down to offset the ones that ignore it. More power to the owners if it makes them happy. I've always wondered if they had any liability if someone came off step unexpectedly and got hit by a boat that ignored the sign. I bet most of them don't think about that shite.

Most people probably agree that getting around someone safely is more important than how someone feels. If I have to get in close to a boat or dock then I'm doing it at no wake speed but if I can stay in the middle of the canal then its safer for everyone for me be on plane and not dead slow in the middle of the channel.

Everyone here is thinking it so don't act like you're not. If there is a hot chick in a bikini that 40 yard buffer just quadrupled. Inside a 1/4 mile you pull the stick into neutral.
