What’s ironic is that they feel they are defending one historically discriminated group by discriminating another. They are no better than the people they despise. It’s sad really that someone so “educated” by traditional standards could be so blatantly stupid.

I think these people lack happiness in their personal lives and are desperate to find a “cause” that they can support to give themselves some self worth

I don't think it's really a mental disorder. This is merely where politics, especially identity politics, has been elevated to. In a very short period of time, the social engineering of the left has convinced people, for the first time in human history, that they should celebrate and actively participate in their own extinction in the name of justice and moral righteousness. This is the amount of power that the left has. If you don't think that progressive politics is a religion, you need look no further than this kind of nonsense. These people are almost like the ancient central American cultures where human sacrifice is celebrated as an appeasement of the gods.

I think you are onto something here. But I do think there is some identifiable psychological component to it. I just can pin it down. Maybe it’s a form of body dysmorphia where OT10s can look in the mirror and be disgusted
