Check the wages in Midland Texas. Truck drivers $150K. Sonic $20 per hour. ect.
The company I work for has a facility in Texas (not Midland, though). They have been getting really busy and are having a hard time finding workers to meet their demands. They are trying to poach our experienced technicians and offering them significant pay increases. We’ve already lost one guy who is making the move.
I know skilled labor with experience is in a good position right now. Opportunities are opening up.

There is no hiring whatsoever in Madison, Hinds and Rankin counties - the most affluent - in Mississippi.
