I read The Passage, but haven’t read the others in the series. Overall, I liked the way Cronin handled the subject of vampirism, i.e. how the virus came from bats and how the word “vampire” is rarely used. Apparently, JC had a lot of input into the series, which should be a good thing. Some hard core fans of the book are apparently pissed that Amy is portrayed by a black child actress in the tv adaption, and Babcock’s gender was switched.

I finished this series a few weeks ago. I loved the ending. I def recommend. It took me about a week to process the whole timeline and story. I loved the religious undertones.
