re: Justin Cronin’s “The Passage” trilogy

I’ve read the trilogy. I really like the first two books. I read them when they first came out and then reread them when the third one came out several years later.

Personally the third book was disappointing to me. Not saying it was bad, just the story went in a direction that I didn’t care for. Maybe because I reread the first two and felt like I wanted it to be over that colored my opinion.

They fight the big bad and it was exiting but the third book took a while for him to write so maybe I felt like it was rushed. My opinion.

They’re doing a tv show based on the first book.
