I was simply answering your question - you wanted to know how it wasn't impressive as previous presidents had not done this before.
I explained they had motive for not doing it, rather than trying and failing.

If you don't realize it's impressive then I can't help you. Is NK as powerful and scary as Obama, Bush, and Clinton all said, or are they simply a puppet regime supported by someone else? Dunno, but a guy whose been a politician for 18 months just walked up in there and called a whole bunch of bluffs. The fear was NK would fire if a nuke into Seoul resulting in mass casualties. Well, that didn't happen:
