Would you be cool with paying coaches in tuitiion, room and board, and meal vouchers and everything else you listed?
Coaches get paid too much as is, so sure, I don't fricking care

I think we both know if the University starts paying for one parent, everyone else is going to jump on that train and then you will have many who are wanting the same. You do one hand out, you do many.

Except you don't get paid, and if you do in some cases, the FBI gets involved...who wouldn't love that!!!
Correct I got paid while there but I did not get half the free stuff they did, so therefore it worked out. I would have gladly traded working at the fricking mall to have free housing, books, tuition, meals, a stipend, etc. I would have taken every fricking walking class, jogging class, women lit class available.

Then I will take the exposure playing for a university gave me and go and make my money, money that will set me up for life.

If they pay them, then they should make them pay like any other college student. Seems fair

Not sure what you're talking about with universities paying parents.

What if you were an all time star and made your university millions but you're not good enough to go pro, how are you setting yourself up for life, exactly?

It isn't even that they should pay them, it is that they should be allowed to make money on their likeness however they see fit because the days of amateur athletics went out the window years and years ago.
