What's funny is those arguing everything is just fine do not realize we're operating under rules that were made something like 90 years ago.

And now the landscape of college athletics could not possibly be more different than they were then, but some think the rules should be the same.

There is no logic to that, none.

I agree

However, I also think the dramatic potrayal of "like slavery", "denying basic human rights", hurts the side arguing for a change

People hear that and they shut down and dont hear the argument because it starts from such a place of ridiculousness
