Lee should have started.

A) Shouldn't have signed with Dodgers then.
B) Started 1970, and pretty good, drafted by Bears.
C) 1/7 TD/INT career vs Bama, 3/7 2INT in his last start, nope.

This is speculatory conjecture of what J Lee could/would have done on Jan 9, 2012.

IMO the following are the most pertinent stats leading up to the BCSNCG. QB vs upcoming opponent and stats vs last opponent. For JL they are one in the same.

JLee vs Bama Nov, 2011
C/ATT YDS TD INT QBR
3/7 24 0 2 2.5

JJ vs Bama Nov 2011.
C/ATT YDS TD INT QBR
6/10 67 0 0 41.2

JJ vs UGA in the SECCG:
C/ATT YDS TD INT QBR
5/13 30 1 0 8.1
6 rushes for -5 yards

Not exactly a clear cut decision on who to start based on the stats over the last half of the season.

Result:

JJ in the BCSNCG:
C/ATT YDS TD INT QBR
11/17 53 0 1 4.9
14 rushes for 15yds, 2 fumbles, one lost.

This really isn't a JJ vs JLee thing; this is a Miles not having a back up plan in place KNOWING Saban was going to scheme for JJ. The man had over a month to prepare and IMO provided a national audience with the WORST game planning EVER in a National Championship game.
