Let’s talk Lester Earl

Grew up in his era. Guy was a beast, a no brainer, straight to the NBA sort of guy. Things didn’t work out.
Seems like he’s a big Kansas alum now. It’s like the LSU days didn’t exist. Supposedly has a son now that’s a big time player.
Lester Earl deserves more credit as a Tiger. The guy was a beast in High School and something didn’t go right with Dale Brown....which seems consistent regardless of the players. Are we forever burned by the ‘hero’ everyone thinks Dale Brown was???
FWIW, he pissed away Stanley Roberts, Shaq, and CJ. I guess I always put Brady on a higher pedistool. He got us through the tougher times.

Played against the guy in HS - same district. He wasn't nearly as good as Scottie Thurman (also played against but not in same district) in HS. He was also a traitor as far as LSU is concerned

Why? I’d really love to know why everyone praises Dale Brown but ridicules this kid. Dale was a crook and did less with more. Prob the answer to why LSU basketball is still never on the map.

Thurman was great for Ruston. Where did you play? Woodlawn? Lester was a beast in that district.
