It's not totally hypothetical. Just made forty, and for the first time been dealing with some trauma in the area that's taking a long time to heal. I suppose there's no way to predict how often this will happen in the future. My fear is that it will get worse as I age, and since I'm doing wisdom teeth anyway, was considering it, but the tori portion and full anesthesia sure seems like an invasive way to deal with it.
