On what fricking planet is this a net positive for MJ?

He literally quit the sport and people like him even more for it.

Well, lets see . . . .

1) He was the NBA champ when he left, and once again when he returned. So its safe to say you could add 2 more championships, bringing him to 8 v Lebrons 3.

2) Same applies to Finals MVP titles

3) Also, at least 1 more MVP award (if not 2)

4) Probably 12x scoring champ to Lebrons 1

5) And, 11x defensive team, to Lebrons 5

6) Plus he would be about 5,000 points ahead of Lebron on the all-time scoring list


Yeah, those 2 years would have widened the gap significantly
