Checking in. Have had only one sexual partner, and she's my wife. We didn't have sex until our wedding night.
On one hand, I'm glad to know that my only real definition of sex is known through my wife. It does make it a little extra special to me, I think.
On the other hand, it sucks that I grew up in a fearful, oppressive environment that treated sex as a negative act and led to me being clueless when it came to dating girls. It took until my 2nd year of college when I had been on my own enough to start feeling more comfortable about it.

Agree. I don’t think it makes my marriage any less vulnerable to the other pitfalls of life but it does make the intimacy portion a little more special, I think.

I was homeschooled/vocational discernment (i was gonna be a priest) and they pretty much shame you for having sexual thoughts and such. You're supposed to say Jesus name over and over again if you think about a titty. What kind of shite is that to tell a 14 year old?
