Anyone who actually practices economics and deals with real macro functions and not pure, controlled scenario theory understands that if someone unfairly subsidizes or gives advantages to a certain industry and makes you less competitive artificially that the correct economic answer is to equally match it.

Don't get me wrong, I love Friedman/Ricardo tariff theories and completely agree but unless you have the skill set required to understand that conversation it's most likely going way over your head and every time you open your mouth you come off as a fcking moron.
