Yep. I said something similar in last night’s thread. We need a legit closer with the mindset of a closer. All of these guys in the pen can hold games on most occasions but as soon as they need to get the last 3 outs or less, they can’t do it. Giles has had the job taken away from him several times now and the trust with him being in that role has eroded to the point that in last night’s game he wasn’t available...until he was if we got the lead back?

I'd give McHugh a shot at that closer role.
Even after the HR given up the other day, he's at a .79 ERA, .926 WHIP, and 11.91 K/9.
See how he does, can't hurt, right?
