Do I have to explain to you the difference between pre-expansion NBA vs. post-expansion NBA, or are you just so far up LeBron’s arse that I just shouldn’t waste my time?

Are you actually dumb enough to use expansion against Lebron?

Micheal played in the time of expansion.

Miami 1988
Charlotte 1988
Orlando 1989
Minnesota 1989
Vancouver 1995
Toronto 1995

All of these expansions watered down the NBA. Who benefited from that?

Lebron James at ages 4 to 10 or Michael Jordan.

Using expansion to boost MJ and against Lebron is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Michael got to go against a lot of players that should have bench players or out of the NBA. Meanwhile instead of established teams getting the top picks they went to expansion teams without much of a veteran presence at all.

Shaq, Penny, Mourning, Johnson, Laettner, Vince Carter, mcGrady, Rice, And Smith were all early in the teams history draft picks. These players started on teams that were within a few years of expansion.

So while MJ was better than any other player he did not have to worry about elite talent joining other stars.

Actually reading the posts you respond to would do you a great deal of good, mate.

And his three first round losses came... during the the three years before expansion.

This is the point of the thread. Read. The. Thread.

MJ played the Celtics six times during the regular season and then got saddled with them in the playoffs.

This was the story during that time of nba basketball. LeBron benefitted from a watered down eastern conference that wasn’t very competitive until the late 2000s, and even then, the depth sucked.
