quote:Has anyone ever made that statement for a case involving freedom of speech?
When someone that the Forum does not like commits a crime and gets arrested, beaten, or killed, the first page of the thread will have at LEAST one "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" post.
quote:I repeat the question I asked.
Robinson committed a crime under British law, and the majority of this Forum rushes to his defense ... because the "other side" was an unpopular minority.
quote:Are you equating murder, burglary, etc, with freedom of speech?
If you don't see the humor in that dichotomy, you need to take a look at the calibration on your bullshitometer.
Damn.

quote:Yes. It gets mentioned on basically EVERY thread about the NFL Kneelers.
Has anyone ever made that statement (games/prizes) for a case involving freedom of speech?
Yes, I understand that the Kneelers (who I DO NOT support) are not engaging in "free speech" protected by the First Amendment, but neither was Robinson (as there IS NOT First Amendment in Britain).
quote:No, I am drawing an analogy. You know, "abstract thought."
Are you equating murder, burglary, etc, with freedom of speech?
