That's not true. They grew on season one and expanded the story. It would be pretty stupid for them to not expand on the story besides Offred.

Also, you make it sound like tv shows that are originally from books don't do well. Which is completely wrong (Ex. The Leftovers, Sharp Objects, Castle Rock and The Man In the High Castle to name a few)

Not at all. I stated season one was good and it's based on the book. Problem is after that the expansion is not that good. It gest formulaic and predictable.
Sharp Objects is a good example of a one season show based on a book. Do you really think a season two can be as good?
