Our best freshman pitching prospect, Storz, has pitched 3 innings due to injury. Our second best freshman pitching prospect, Labas, has been hurt off and on. Gilbert clearly has some sort of injury as his velocity has been down about 5 mph from last year. And it took Todd Peterson about half the season before he started playing well.

That was going to happen whether we had Walker or not. I wouldn't call it a "had to" situation.

Other than this I completely agree.
