They draw from a bottomless pit of inanity and insanity. People of all stripes loved Elizabeth because she was going to turn healthcare on its head with her nanotainers, and she was a (sort-of-want) appealing package, a young blonde woman from Silicon Valley they cast as the next coming of Steve Jobs, right down to the black turtleneck. Strangely enough, her board was almost entirely a clique of old conservatives. The only person in the universe I'm aware who still supports her is Tim Draper, a VC guy who beclowned himself like an @realist on CNBC a couple weeks ago:
