You don’t have a personal phone? Must be poor.
Nah, I did for a while but it became a hassle keeping up with two iphones.
And yes, I'm poor

What’s the catch with Cricket, straight talk, etc? They can’t be that much cheaper and providing the same service can they??
The catch is that you get bumped down in priority when the tower is congested. I've noticed it some, but not enough to sweat 40 bucks a month over. Other than that it's good.

Unlimited everything. I’m on a share plan with someone that works there. Bill is only 36 bucks a month.

$84 for AT&T
Grandfathered into unlimited data plan. 450 minutes with rollover and 1500 texts a month. Never go over that and have like 5000 rollover minutes.
ETA: Because of where I worked...I qualify for a 25% discount off my bill.

Nothing wrong with saving money, just know the person who owns the phone line has access to all your calls, texts and passwords you input.
Every personal bit of information is there for them to read and review.
Always pony up for a personal phone IMO.

how much data do you nerds actually use in a month? I'm on a 5GB plan and only use about 2-3 gbs a month. $35 for that plan, but I've been thinking about switching to MintSim, but not sure how good the service is for my area. However, 20$ a month is very appealing.

If you purchased a phone through one of the major carriers, can you bring your phone over to these boutique companies?

$55. Straight Talk unlimited. Not truly unlimited, they throttle at some point but I've never hit the cap.

About the same with 2 lines, 8 gb and a phone that is currently being financed. Verizon.

You must be watching videos all the time or using your phone as a hot spot for work.
