If we match Miles record in his second year, I assume that qualifies "O" to get a pay raise equal to Miles and an automatic extension after each season? After all Miles didn't leave him a JR or Flynn quality QB.

I see no reason not to be optimistic about the season. Like Grandad, I'm on the train.

He did leave him Aranda, and what should be the future in 2020 Brennan or Narcisse. Flynn started one game before playing as a redshirt senior in 2007. Statistically, Russell's 2005 season was on par with Etling's. To do what he did in 2005 with all that natural disasters shite that happened, was a hell of a sports accomplishment. He also left him an opening to get an OC that was actually a QB guru and ran a modern offense well already. The windfall of Fournette and Guice alone kept us from looking worse than anemic on offense as well.

I'm on the LSU being good train too, but I'm not on the Miles bashing to cut O some slack train.

Well said. I'm on board that train as well.

I've always felt that anything less than a 10 win season was underachieving. Before Burrow transferred in, I wasn't expecting o to be able to win more than 9 games total. Burrow may be able to secure another win or two as the QB. But if this team wins less than 10 games, that's a disappointment and I think Alleva and o should be shown the door.
