Bringing in a grad transfer QB that will have only the freshmen year of said recruits to be a teammate if he stays has about as little effect on a total recruiting class as could be. Maybe...maybe there is some small impact on a Wideout after seeing this guy succeed and win games for the program as well as put up lots of balls that got caught by the current receiving core. The only people that have any true bearing on a prospect and where he might head to besides the coaching staff of the involved universities and the kids direct and closest family and friends is another prospect they might be close to or have been swayed by in the camp and evaluation circuits. Some guys for whatever reason will band together after a weekend of being hotel neighbors at some random college camp. You see this all the time. But what you almost never see in any way at all is some upper classman transfer who couldn't make the field at his first stop somehow have any impact on a current 17 year old prospect he literally has a 99 percent chance he never sees a real game snap together with. If anything I'm actually worried this might have a far worse outcome than people think in the attrition and recruiting areas of the LSU program. I believe that Joe Burrow coming in and winning the job could literally eventually force both Narcisse and Brennan to look elsewhere after this season. Also I believe that it could make the major QB prospect we've been working on for months day after day that could be the real next big thing at LSU for the QB spot in Grant Gunnell end up signing elsewhere before we'd even lose either of the two on the roster. By 2019 we could be looking at a QB chart featuring burrow and a walk on realistically. And that's not good

That is some convoluted thinking right there. Amazing how everything turns into a doomsday scenario. Every recruit is motivated by something different. Great ones do not run from competition.

Why worry about everything that might happen. I'm just glad we may have really good QB this year that we did not know we were going to have. Just be happy we have him and enjoy the upcoming season.
