If you live in Virginia you could have just delivered the vehicle to yourself. Your state has the most lax, amazingly liberal electronic/online notarial act laws in America and by extension Earth.
Notarize.com operates there. They just tried to make a push here because of their inability to notarize Civil Law related documents. It was killed during the regular session that just concluded.
